Communality Strategic Voting

Redrawing the electoral lines and making Taranaki a Republic sounds good. But of course a political system based on numbers not on representation of ones electorate communality regional boundaries. It is hardly likely to have any central government support. Because our political system has changed we in the region have to change the way we vote, to get our point across to a system that does not listen to local regional community interests and common sense. We need to vote strategically for a political system that works for us as a region and not one that supports party interests. As I have said since the advent of MMP we need to vote for an Independent that puts the regions interests first, and not a party candidate that puts the numbers and their party first. This is the only way that todays political system will stand up and say why. Then we can tell them because you don't listen to us as a region and what we want, so we have voted for our own Independent candidate instead. I know, pigs will fly, but at least think about it. A New Plymouth Independent that supports a National/Green coalition. Now theres a thing.
